Sudbury
Just like every new dog owner, I knew that training needed to be a priority. Savannah and I went through our first training program and that was when I found my calling to become a trainer. In 2009, I began my basic training for a major company. However, as time went by, I began to question the method of training I was giving to my clients and to my own dog.
The knowledge I had acquired, brought us to a point where some serious issues were evident. I began to do some research about dogs and their behaviors. I became concerned that my interactions with my dog could potentially cause risk to my children and myself. I needed to take control, so I took a serious look at what changes were needed.
I learned about Brad Pattison and had watched his TV program At the End of My Leash. I wanted to know more than what was being shared in his program. I attended as many of his seminars as possible over the course of a year. I decided that I wanted to learn more about Brad’s training methods, and become a Certified Trainer Educator. I sacrificed everything I had to make my dream come true. Savannah and I travelled back and forth from Sudbury to Toronto to attend every class every weekend.
In June of 2011, I graduated and became a Brad Pattison CTE. I’ve gained great knowledge by completing the BPCTE course and I want to share my experience and knowledge with dog owners.
