One might ask why I have chosen to become a BPCTE at this time in my life?  I am a full time nurse on an active medical unit.  This profession is rewarding in a way no other job is but I really wanted to do something that would allow me more time to spend out of doors with my dogs.  I then discovered the opportunity to partake in Brad Pattison's training program.   It was a wonderful experience, a lot of work and it taught me things about myself as well as how to have great dogs.  As a BPCTE I will share and help others because, yes, this training works. Dogs get to be dogs and people get the confidence to know their dogs are well behaved and safe, as well as a joy to bring out in public.

I have two dogs of my own; Ob-y is a Shorkie who will turn 4 in January.  Ob-y suffered from excessive barking which, thankfully, has been cured.  Willy, a Shitzu who will be 3 in February, had so much anxiety that he would vomit every time he went for a car ride even, a short one. Now Willy rides in the car for hours resting quietly on the back seat and he now loves going everywhere.  Boy, are they glad I've learned about this training too!
